• Copan Ruins

The Copan Ruins is one of the most well-preserved sites that display traces of the Mayan Civilization. The ruins of Copan were discovered in 1570 by Diego Garcia de Palacio and were added to the list of world heritage sites in 1980 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
